Hong Kong Edition 3
Day 5 - Disneyland
I woke up today feeling as excited as a kid would be by jst the thought of goin Disneyland. Considering e limited space in HK, Disney was built quite far fr e city & it took us almost an hr to get there. Even e train to Disney are decorated w Mickey's trademark, fr the passengers' handle to the windows... All that adds to the excitement. Thanks to Katie, all of us went in w complimentary tickets. Some said HK's Disney is nothing compared to Tokyo or LA. But for me, since I haven't been to the one in Tokyo & since I couldn't recall much abt my time in LA whn I was a kid, HK's Disney still excites me. We spent e whole day there.. went for all e rides & shows. Although it wasn't fully opened, I was bouncy & excited jst like a 10-year-old.
We only left Disney after watching the parade & fireworks. Did u know it costs Disney US 30, 000 for the nightly spectacular fireworks display? By dinner time, we could barely feel our limbs. Thanks to Franco's friend, I had one of e best Chinese dinner I could remember for a very very long time. It was affordable and down right delicious. Some of the dishes I didn't even know existed. The combination and the taste is jst perfect. There were almost 15 of us & there were abt 12 dishes. We gobbled down our food like pigs who haven't eaten for weeks. hahaha..
Day 6 - Shopping @ Tsim Tsa Tsui
You can imagine by today all of us were dead tired. We slept till late & hit Tsim Tsa Tsui for our first major shopping spree. I couldn't recall how much I've spent, but jst to give u a rough idea, I needed Richie to help w carrying my shopping bags. hehee... Left early to hv dinner at home w Katie. Special thanks to Franco's mum, we had a feast!
