Tiesto
I've always had the impression that rave parties are for pill-poppers. But yday night's Pit Party with Tiesto completely changed my perspective. The event was awesome. There was a huge turnout and everyone was raving when Tiesto performed. Some told me his spinning was good. I couldn't tell, honestly. But one thing for sure, he sure knows how to relate to his audience. Spinning accordingly at the right time with just enough climax to stir you up.
One thing that really attracted my attention was the visuals. There were pictures of buildings, highways, people.. all depicting an illusion from the reality. I think going to rave parties are like going for a movie - they transport you away from the realities of work and problems you faced for 2 whole hours.
It crossed my mind how cool it would be if they've got rave parties with turnouts as huge as last night's but spinning Christian music in trance version. Hmmmm....
