My mama rocks!
Fly FM (my fav radio station) is having this "My mama rocks!" campaign where ppl called up to tell the whole world what is it abt yr mum that irritates you & how she makes it up with her good points (hopefully!)..
Let me start with mine. My mama rocks because she irritates me everytime when:
1. she's overly protective - 12 midnight used to be my curfew limit. But as I grow older & as she claims that criminal rates have rise, my curfew is now 10.30pm. After negotiation, 11.00pm. Bear in mind, her claim of the rise in criminal rates is not supported by any concrete figures but merely the increasing pages of crime reporting in her Chinese n/paper.
2. she gets overly petty over small things - especially when both my bro & I are suspecting maybe, just maybe, she's suffering from menopause at the moment.
But above all that, my mama rocks because:
1. she is an all-rounder. And by tt, I mean mum being a friend, a counsellor, a listener, an advicer.... just everything. There are so many times when I turn to her re my probs at work or even personal life & she's able to motivate me with ease. :)
2. no one can imagine bringing up 3 monkeys all by herself.
3. she wakes up 5.30am everyday, jst so that she can pack bfast. Note: Bfast menu includes tea, fruits & sandwich with special request fr her princess that none of them should repeat more than twice in the same week. *glee*

Plans for Mother's Day... thinking of celebrating tmr since it's a public holiday tmr!!!! Hip hip hooray! :D
